how does it work?

Thermoclean does not bleach! It won't harm the laminated seals on Thermos-flasks or leave any residues. A quarterly clean with a sachet of Thermoclean will keep your flask fresh, even if flaskit's in daily use.

Cleaning a Thermos-flask

  • Place just one sachet of powder per liter capacity into a flask l fill the flask with boiling water - It's that simple.
  • There's no need to scrub- Thermoclean will get to work straight away.
  • Leave to stand for 20 - 30 minutes. Then simply empty out the contents (at this point you'll see from the waste how effective Thermoclean is).
  • Rinse with clean water- job done!
  • For really heavily stained flasks repeat as necessary.

Cleaning pottery, china, glass, stainless steel items

  • stainless steelIf your cleaning other items simple pop the powder in to a bowl but this time add warm water or let the boiling water stand until a sensible temperature is reached (remember your delicate pottery items wont stand boiling water). Metal wear on the other hand is fine.
  • We recommend about 1 liter of water per sachet.
  • Leave to stand for 20 - 30 minutes. Then simply empty out the contents and
  • Rinse with clean water.

A point to note here: Do remember that if you are cleaning delicate objects in warm water we would advise rinsing in warm not cold water otherwise temperature differences from hot to cold may adversely harm pottery, china, or glass objects- so do take care over this.
